Its going okay, they try to protect her when im soaking her.. They'll stand real close And Walk around us.. Lol.. My Rouen is the only one that tries anything with her..(so far)

I candled them for the fun of it.. One of them doesnt have a yolk. Weird.

Hi. Would it be possible for you to soak your birds foot in warm water with Epsom salt in it OR if you don’t have Epsom salt you can use regular salt and a little bit of dish soap. After about 10 minutes , scrub the bird’s foot well.

Once it’s clean, it would be helpful to see a good clear picture of your actual bird’s foot.

Note: I would NOT recommend using white medical tape on a bird’s foot or leg.
It’s far too unforgiving and could cause circulatory impediment or be way too hard to remove.
Self adhesive vet wrap or sports wrap like this is super easy to work with are readily available.

You can customize it to a skinnier width easily with scissors.


( epsom salt is beneficial because it is magnesium sulfate which is good for wounds and swelling. It comes from the pharmacy or bath soap section of the grocery store OR the pharmacy or gardening section of a store like Walmart)

Thank you, I didn’t put the medical tape directly on it, I put two layers of gauze and them taped the gauze.
