Hi my Rouen female has bumble foot. I worked on her foot last night, when I was done I put copaiba and coconut oil on the wound and wrapped it. This is what it looks like this morning. Does it look like I got all the infection? Do I need to work on her some more? Thank you

Yes she is. She never had a problem walking with the bumblefoot. She’s just been quacking.

I would not dig any further into the wound. What I would do is take the bandage off, apply an antibacterial ointment to the wound, then rebandage. Coconut oil is not going to cut it.

What about Copaiba oil?

Here’s what her foot looks like today. Does it still look ok? Do I still keep wrapping it? Should I work on her more?

I looked up the oil you asked about and it says it's good for wound healing I'd rub some in and wrap though. Did you ever get anything out of that bumble?

I have been putting the oil on and wrapping it. Yes I did get some out.

My duck’s foot still has not healed up yet. I’ve worked on “Banana” my duck a couple of times since I posted last, and it still looks like this. What do I do? I have been putting the Copaiba oil on and also I put plantain leaves on her foot.
