Forgive me, I asked this question on another's thread.Could you use iodine instead of ichthamel? And can you just bathe the foot in strong salt water?

I’ve never used iodine. The ichthamel is a drawing salve so it helps draw out the puss and infection. I’m not sure about the salt water… I don’t believe epsom “salt” is actually salt.
