I just found this thread but I agree! An update would be great. Sugardine seems amazing and it healed up really well!

She is completely healed! She does still limp on the foot and sometimes she chooses to keep it tucked up under her, but there is nothing left open as far as the wound goes!

I am sorry penicillin not baytrill

Penecillin doesn't cover most of the organisms in dirt and poop. (I'm a Dr) Amoxicillin is a much better choice if it's ok for chickens. (I'm a duck person LOL)

Current pics! All healed up except the last couple of scabs. No swelling and nice, pink flesh. Thank you to everyone for the advice in treating her

That's awesome if anybody goes back from the first to the last it's awesome that one tough bird you have and I am so glad you were able to move past the bad smell that she once had. I feel most people would probably euthanized her. I know at least most of my freinds would have
