I think it looks a little better.

So far, she appears pretty active and has been laying eggs, though she does walk with a limp. The toe is tender, and it hurts her when I unwrap bandages. Yesterday I added Prid to her treatment. Hopefully the salve will help heal her infection.

My family and I amputated part of her toe two days ago. She is eating and drinking and has laid an egg since the amputation. It was definitely a scary thing to do, but thankfully she survived. I will post more about the amputation along with photos soon.

It's been a while since I've posted on this thread. The hen that got part of her toe amputated is doing much better. Here is a picture of her feet. If you look closely, you will see the healed over remaining stub of the toe.
