Antibiotics and then penicillin are different things. Plus that one you showed is for Cattle upper respiratory..I could be wrong, although here people use a slow release antibiotic
Penicillin is just one type of antibiotics. But it is an antibiotic. ;)

I believe it prevents bacteria from building their cell walls. So when they multiply, they end up dying since having no cell wall=death.

Yes...Thankyou..Hmmm..Darn..I think she will need a stronger antibiotic that is slow release to fight the infection if it's in the bone..Phew, I got it out of my head..

That’s what we are here for right? When one person can’t remember something, hopefully the others will help them out!

I hope the body has just encapsulated it. The body has some amazing abilities! But I would think yes, if it’s in the bone stronger antibiotics would be needed. But I don’t have specific experiences to pull from, thats just my opinion.:)
 
I only know because a flock of Cayuga I was to take in this Fall..One was put down because of severe infection in is foot that got eating at the bone in the foot...The other was put on a slow release antibiotic..That one healed.
