I can get it open... for .5 seconds. She is not a tame duck in the first place which doesn't make it any easier.

Why is it that these critters don't appreciate the great lengths we go to in order to save them!?! After all I went through to help my duck, she still runs (well, waddles quickly) away from me whenever I get too close to her. No appreciation whatsoever!

Well, Chrissy (whole nother thread on her) seemed rather appreciative after a while, but she sure was a hissy booger to start with. Hopefully Hailey will come around shortly.

I got the info... He said depending on the infection in this case...?
Injectable antibiotic is possibly the best course..Penacilin or the stronger of the two is Terracycyclin..? Or how ever you spell it?..lasts 5 days..He advised a Vet is your best bet and not Backyard helpers.....I knew that..
