I just drape a cloth over the heads of the cockerels when I caponize them. They are strange about relaxing. But if it helps us work on them, it's all good!

He stares at me through the window and he sings to me whenever he sees me. Oh wait- do children sing to their mothers? He might think I'm his wife..

So @Miss Lydia @casportpony I checked on him today and it looked like it has another black thing.. I see the hole where I dug the splinter out but now there’s a black thing in it.. I will get pictures in a few minutes

It’s not a good picture but I do see where I dug out the splinter but there’s now the exact same thing that I dug out in there again, in less than a day? I don’t think it’s a splinter
