How do I do that? You need to get the infection out before the Veterycin will work.
Sorry about not responding so quickly! It didn't alert me that you had posted. Thank you. I will do this everyday.Well I soak in warm Epsom salt water to soften the scab may have to do this 2-4 days first I also use clear iodine after soaks clear because it has ammonia in it and helps bring the infection to the surface. After the scab softenes try using your nail to lift off an edge of the scab if it pulls up easily take it off if it still won’t come up keep soaking till it will once you get the scab off the kernel will most likely be yellow and thick so you may have to pick it out with a pair of tweezers. Then clean it up real good and cover till new skin grows over just check every few days to make sure it has swelled up again and infection is all out. @casportpony May use a different treatment let her reply and use the one you think is best for your situation.
