Bumblefoot need dosage advice

One of my girls started limping this morning and upon examination, she has a swollen foot pad with a small scab.

I picked up some injectable Penicillin G Procaine today(it was the only antibiotic I could get without a prescription), but am having difficulty finding good dosage info. Poultry was not included in the dosage instructions that were included.

Can anybody help?

That stuff is used as an additive in medicated starter feed.

That stuff need to be so diluted in the feed that it has a ratio of 33.3 g of Penicillin G Procaine 110 Medicated Feed Premix with 1000 kg feed
to obtain medicated feeds with a penicillin G concentration of 0.00022% (2.2 mg/kg) ( PER WEBSITE) Unless its a different med...

I would ask a Vet first before injection it with any dosage.

You don't really need to give her Pen G but you do need to soak the foot in very warm Epsom salt water and cut the plug out and get out all infection. There are many threads on Bumblefoot How To. I've treated many bumblefoots and none have recurred when I've gotten the plug out, packed with Neosporin and wrapped with Vetwrap. I used to give Pen G (1cc injected in breast muscle) but found it wasn't really necessary.
