Bumblefoot, no scab, swelling isn't reducing, trying everything, what now?

Today, for the first time in their 9 months, my ducks got attacked by birds of prey. There had to be 7 total, 3 or 4 on the ground standing off against Quacky, who came away unscathed. Billy was also okay. Mally, poor Mally, was dripping blood. I think it was only a small cut (it's really difficult to find).

I water sprayed the blood off, dried her in a towel and cuddled her for a bit, sprayed the area heavily with Vetericyn, gave her the Metacam and antibiotic she's on for her foot, and put her in a dog crate in the bedroom where it's quiet and dark.

Hoping to put her back with her sisters this evening, but not really sure.

Here's her foot today. The skin is loose on the bottom of the toe so I can tell there's more room in it. I couldn't cut the stitch out because her skin healed over the top of it.

Oh no! How is she doing today?

I kept her in the crate overnight and put her back with her sisters this morning. I think it was a few blood feathers that broke. Still spraying with Vetericyn.

Quacky is squinting one eye so I sprayed Vetericyn on that after the vet emailed back telling me "spray Vetericyn on everything" lol.

They're confined to the enclosure today, I think the hawks are still around.

I'll probably give them pool water tomorrow to clean off.

I think the predator birds left after the 2nd day. The ducks have been keeping an eye out for them, I can tell. It looks like Mally just had a couple blood feathers attacked, she's doing fine now.

These are pics of her foot I took yesterday. Definitely seeming pretty good these days, especially considering the extra trauma. Her shoes came in from Party Fowl today so I'm going to wash her foot in the morning and stick her in the shoe. I'll be sure to get some pics.

It looks so much better!! I have chick shoes for chickens they really do work great for protection. And she won’t destroy them like a chicken since she doesn’t scratch. Glad to hear the birds left and she wasn’t injured seriously.
