Bumblefoot on Quail and I need help ASAP

No worries! And jumbos are just bigger weight wise, so get a food scale and set them on and see, you can weigh a small towel and then wrap them in it, making sure they can still breathe and it’s covering their head, so they’ll stay calm, and then subtract the weight of the towel. Sadly there’s really no way around surgery. I know it can be daunting, but with a helper and something over their eyes, like a towel again, it can be easier. As far as the egg issues go, if they’re new layers, they can have “glitches” like that and that is normal, but if they’re older birds who have been laying a while, it can be a sign of issues, I wouldn’t be worried unless you’re noticing other symptoms, I would like clarification on what the egg in another egg means exactly, are you seeing double yolks?
No one large egg had 2 yolks and a small egg inside

I’ll admit, I thought you were lying! But apparently it’s a thing, and very rare! And so it a double yolk! That’s awesome.

She may just be having some laying glitches if she’s new, but I’d keep an eye on her. What are you feeding? Do they get supplemental oyster shell?

Can't help with the bumble foot, but the eggs are totally normal, assuming your hens are still young. Mine did the same weird stuff for about the first two months of laying (egg within an egg included); they're finally settling into "normal" laying now. It's just their reproductive track figuring itself out!

It's weird she is the only 1 doing this. I know for sure she is a jumbo! I remember when she hatched she was super yellow blond lol also weird that she was laying normal jumbo eggs 1st 2 wks or so then started laying weird things... I dont mind as long as she is ok... she had 2 eggs connect that she layed few days ago.. every day is a surprise lol
