Hey everyone my 11 month old rooster facing some Bumblefoot he is a pet home chicken ..we have some kind of granite marble flooring u notice it about 3 weeks ago while bathing him
His case was not so worst
The scab was not so hard or outgrown
But redness was there and a black dot
.I know it is staphylococcus because they most of the time poop and walk over on their poop accidentally ..

I did this surgery with the help of my mother .
My mother hold him and I operate him ..
Just mentioned in webs and utube

Day 1
We soak his foot for about half hour with 2 teaspoon Epsom salt but nothing work cause the skin was still tight tough
So we wrap it with a oil gauze
Some coconut oil + mustard oil and wrap it cause my rooster having scab in his both foots its tough

Next morning as expected oil makes his skin soft
Again we soak his feet for 30 min and
I pull out the crust
It was a bit big in size like a small pea
He bleed alot
But there's no Pus or gunk inside

We wash his foot with liquid Betadine solution
And bandage him ..with Soframycine Cream
Along with I'm feeding him garlic to kill that bacteria ..we didn't use any oral medicine

I bandage him.every day with fresh bandage and cream
Did it about 3 weeks
Now today we open it and notice that his skin due to bandage got so so soft
Plus cause of no air inside bandage its seems moist

So we open the bandage and leave him open without bandage his scab is heal
(I'll post pic tom)

But there's a bit redness
And black wound mark

I'm very worried

I applied some Antifungal Powder In his footpad namely "Mycoderm Powder"
contains Benzoic Acid,Menthol, Salicylic Acid and Starch as active ingredients.

Guys just tell me about the wound mark

When a wound is healing on a chicken the scabs will often look black. I personally haven't dealt with bumble foot, so I can't help much. I would leave it uncovered. Hopefully someone more experienced can help out.

Pls suggest :(
