Here is a good video of basic bumblefoot care with soaks, removing scab and pus plug, and dressings, and many things can be used on dressings, including Neosporin, sugar and Betadine, or Prid drawing salve:

Thank you! I watched it before, I wish it was as easy as mine! First times are hard I guess. Here is a good video of basic bumblefoot care with soaks, removing scab and pus plug, and dressings, and many things can be used on dressings, including Neosporin, sugar and Betadine, or Prid drawing salve:
KudosAlright thanks! When we opend there was only blood, no other substances according to my mom. In the pic u see a little white, that is just a little puss, we tried to squeeze but nothing came. Sad. Thanks for the other websites!
Yep! We just finished doing her first soak of the dat and I realized that the foot with the big bumble looks weird, could this be from the vet wrap?Kudosto your mom for being so helpful & supportive. We mom's love our kids & grow to love hens too

Hi! Today when I was doing her last soak of the day she was very antsy! She pooped twice in the bucket, but that might be because I was feeding her worms and grapes! Haha my fault lol! But still, before I put her to soak I noticed something sticking out, so I grabbed sterile tweezers, sprayed it with Vetericyn and started pulling at it, it seemed like puss so I kept pulling at it until it came out all of it. Not much. It might have been some of the ointment but im not sure, I have noticed that the white stuff in the middle is just skin. Is that o.k? So yeah, I wrapped it and she was off to bed! Tomorrow the Prid is coming! Ugh! Amazon! I hate when they change dates on you! So im going to do what I have been saying I would do today.Kudosto your mom for being so helpful & supportive. Right!! Ooh I hope so! Yes it seems to be raw skin. Okay will do one it heals. I think I found the cause of all my problems! I have a box where they like to sit on and nap and since Maggy is a chubby bird when she flys down I think she hurts her feet on the ground, tomorrow im grabbing the rake and doing what a rake is used for... Duh lol!If you are seeing skin & no swelling or redness that is great. All we used on raw skin is triple antibiotic ointment over the raw wound even though we do have vetericyn we like the sticking power of the ointment before wrapping. Sounds like you guys are becoming bumblefoot pros!
Once the bumblefoot treatment is certain that all infection is done the raw skin needs time to form a healing scab so continue antibiotic wraps until the healing scab comes off naturally either in the soak or on the ointment pad a few days later. After the healing scab comes off we continue wrapping the tender healed skin for 2-3 days so the foot has a chance to stay clean while toughening up.
Amazon used to be 1-day delivery w/prime but we keep getting postponed too. What good is paying for prime then? & Amazon prime movies are mostly movies i've already seen on Netflix years ago! I mean Amazon shopping is ok but don't charge for prime if it cant keep next day promises! Rant over!
