Bumblefoot?

Pics
She is BEAUTIFUL! So glad the infectious pus is coming out. Are you noticing swelling is going down? It's a time consuming process treating daily for bumble but she is worth it indeed.

I know right! Nope, maybe even going up? Do you think that I might have been to late? Like she might be to the point where in a week or so she could, yk, kick the bucket..?

So... Update...

Yesterday, I begun taking out the puss from the largest bumble. As I did that, I got not as much as I would like, but still got some stringy puss out. I was "satisfied" with it, so begun to apply pressure. I saw a deep hole when the bleeding stopped, so part of me was happy, the other half was scared for her still. I really wish I took more caution while wrapping that foot...

Fast forward to today, at 12:30...

As my brother lifted her up, me in good spirts- I did not know I was about to be disappointed. As I looked, I saw she had picked the wrap so that it was not on her scab... I immediately put her in the epson soak, hoping she did that, this morning so that it had time to scab over.

After her epson soak, I took her out and immediately saw, that the swelling had improved. My mom came over and she looked. We both new it had become more swollen. I told my dad and he called the vet immediately... We have her scheduled to go Wednesday at 11:00... After I wrapped, and was sure it was good - no openings. The blood has stopped as we got a good amount of puss again. I put her back, and she had started limping...

Please! I beg you! Pray for her! Any help will be loved!

Hindsight is 20/20 what we could've should've would've done earlier so hopefully the vet will help. At sign of swelling she should've been taken to a vet but everyone has to make their own decision when/if a vet is needed. I feel so helpless at this end not being there w/you but it's all in God's & Nature's hands.

It's always good to be consistent in daily treatment/changing bandages for your sweet bird. I have a broken arm bone & have to do daily bone stimulator treatment daily & doctor says don't miss a day! Till you see the vet keep up daily soaking, meds, & wrapping. Don't force pulling squeezing anything since there is ample open wound to allow meds to heal/stop further infection. Triple antibiotic ointment is good for open wounds.

We are taking her to the most advanced vet in our state, so hopefully they can do what is needed.

That's sweet to cushion her foot. I can't tell for certain but it doesn't look bad ~ yet without being in person it's hard to tell from still photos. IMO there hasn't been enough home improvement so a vet visit sounds very reasonable. After all, I took our 1st bumble hen to a vet who had to do surgery & then showed us how to routinely check for bumble in future to treat at home early before any sign of swelling shows. Bless your folks for taking action ❤️.

Doesn’t look too bad. But I am glad you are getting her to the vet.
One trick you can use to relive the pressure on the bumble area is to put a corn cushion on her foot and bandage over it.
The corn cushion relieves the pressure on the bumble which helps with pain and healing.
You are probably too young to have used corn cushion for yourself, so just to clarify - this is what I mean by a corn cushion. You place it so the hole is over the scab/wound. The are lightly adhesive so actually easy to stuck in her foot and then do the vet wrap bandage over it.

Thank you! That pic was yesterday, and in one day it became so swollen! We are upgrading our chicken bumble supplies. Soon we are going to be in the chicken world record book, for the longest bumblefoot case, and I am not proud of it!
