I just performed my first surgery on my sweet Lady. She doesn't seem any more worse for wear, but I am a wreck. I was able to get some of the junk out, but could not get the "kernel" and I finally gave up. She was bleeding so much more than any of the videos that I looked at today. I put some verimycin ? on her foot and wrapped it up. Guess I will have a go at it tomorrow. Oh and she has one on both feet. I will get pretty good at this. Wish me luck.

Hope I never have to do it for my birds. Good luck to you.

She will be fine. I have worked on several bumble feet and they come back pretty quickly. ;)
