Bumblefoot

I performed bumblefoot surgery 10 days ago and removed the kernel and puss. Additional puss was expelled for the following 3 days. Daily soaks in Epsom salt baths, followed by Bactine spray, iodine, gauze with Neosporin and vet wrap. After 10 days the swelling has not decreased at all????

how bad was the bumble foot? it can take a while for swelling to go down, especially after the skin is irritated/ opened up

chances are it will take a long time then, a the toe is only a small area . there may also be damage and there will be lots of scar tissue as well. its unlikely to go back to normal size
