I had a batch of 13 eggs in the bator. Just candled on Day 11. One Mille Fleur D'uccle not fertile, another tiny black spot and blood ring, the third weeping. So I lost all of those. I had tossed an infertile Buff cochin bantam at day seven but the remaining 5 cochins look good. Those were all shipped eggs. The 5 eggs from my OEG pair look good. Three of them are only at Day 7. I put them in late when I came home and found them in a corner of the coop. I picked up a used (once) Hoba-vator on Craigslist yesterday so I will move those three when we go on lockdown. The shipped eggs were packaged well, it just didn't turn out. I was really hoping one of those d'uccles would make it though! I'll try again in the Spring.

Darn, that shipping can do a number on those eggs, that's for sure. Sorry it didn't work out for ya. DO try again!
