I tried giving him around 1/2 cup of tart cherry juice daily that is 100% juice but it does not seem to work. Perhaps I've been giving him too little or it's not the right stuff so i am going to get some capsules later

I'll be sure to check if our local feeder store has that type of feed

I've seen all flock, but grower feed is harder to find. The all flock is a general purpose poultry feed. Our local Farm King, Farm and Fleet, and Tractor Supply have all carried it.
