Blob of what?

Kdawg... You did not take too long to use the meat.
Too long would have been all day nutter.
You killed him and within the hour you were cutting him up. That is not too long.
Remember this for the next one.
This is the liver and the green thing in the middle of it is the gall bladder.

There is a blood clot on the bottom right that's darker.

The other piece that's so far unnamed is the voice box under the gore spoiler.

Yeah but then it took like another hour or two after that to finish with him 😂🙈

The blood clot is what I was wondering about. Thank you.

They look fatty and swelled up, but I always withheld food for 12-24 hours before butchering. That's the first full crop I've seen. Overall, I would definitely agree that was not a healthy chicken.
I figured maybe they were filled with food? Or do they still not look normal? I hadn’t planned on butchering him today or else I would have withheld food so he’s got who knows how many days worth of food in him. Interesting though about him not being healthy because I honestly thought they looked normal 😂 shows how little I know I suppose. I’ve never processed a chicken before. Weird thing too though is he was crowing even just yesterday and mating everything in site, even having tiffs with Freddy, so I would have never know anything was wrong.
