Since you are talking about Chanteclers, where do you guys get them from? I am interested in getting some. Any hatcheries that ship to Canada?

Okay, thanks!I will get mine from Cackle. I've heard they have a great line of them. Not sure if they will ship up there or not.
Murray McMurray ships up here, but the cost is prohibitive and they do not have Chanteclers, I don't think. I suggest finding a local breeder, depending on where you are they can be fairly easy to find. Check the CFI breeder directory.Since you are talking about Chanteclers, where do you guys get them from? I am interested in getting some. Any hatcheries that ship to Canada?
Orpingtons taste great. Bigger than Australorps, but not fast growing. Good dual purpose, nice enough to keep 1 or 2 roosters. I am on here because I want to get some chickens again, and I wanted to see if there are better choices. I am deciding just st. run Orpington will probably be what I do.All we have are layer types, I would like to have some J Giants or Australorps, big bird =big meat.
