Butter - now with "natural flavors"

Interesting, I have a package of LandOLakes and Kroger brand, both "unsalted" version, and both say "Sweet cream, natural flavors"

Oooh, I remember making butter in my Mom's kitchen from raw milk. Yummy. We'd put cream in a big canning jar, tighten the lid well, and shake it while watching tv.

My brand is local...Central Market European Style. It is an HEB store brand.

I wonder if the salt police go ahold of the butter manufacturers and now they are calling salt "natural flavoring".

My Land o' Lakes salted butter says sweet cream and salt. Below that in bold it says contains milk.

Maybe the difference is salted and unsalted. I need to go post my opinion on unsalted butter on the the "things you don't get" thread.

Just read the package...(Dairy Fresh brand, Taylor, Mich)
Ingredients: Cream, Salt.
Allergen statement: Contains Milk Products.

And a warning: Keep Refrigerated.

I always have a stick in the butter dish on the counter so it stays soft.

Lots of stuff say "natural flavor" . but what those flavors came from is anybodys guess. Those All Juice Juices are usually more than one juice the main ingredient being the cheaper Apple juice. If you make it or grow it yourself then and only then will you know what's in it.
