I did not expect this!!! I think it’s just day 26 unless she started sitting the evening earlier. She was off the nest so I looked at the other eggs and at least 2 are pipped. She’s back on the nest

I think the baby is buff colored

This afternoon Butterscotch is sitting tight and I cannot see the duckling but hopefully all is well under there

There are at least 4 ducklings! I will be at work all day but I have everything set up nicely for them

The last duckling hatched! Butterscotch is such a great mom! I know the last egg was 24 hrs behind so it also hatched on day 26!

4 are dark colored - black, dark khaki? 2 might be buff or some type of diluted dusky? And one looks like a light phase mallard
