Button Quail 8 weeks old just laid first batch of eggs!!! QUESTIONS!!!

If it stays at 100 consistently it should be okay. They might take 17 days to hatch but they should be okay.

No, you don't have to turn them that much. Once when you get up, again mid-day, and again before bed should be fine.

Alrighty, because I was reading that birds turned them hundreds of times a day. So I was worried that I had to turn them a lot. I am hoping my little mini-bator made from dollar store stuff works and has a high hatch rate lol. We were shocked to get eggs so quickly. I thought it would take longer. Have you ever had any experience/ heard of anyone having any experience or success with a homemade incubator?

Lots of people have. Personally, I like my bought incubators

But if it holds temp well and has good ventilation it should work.
