Button Quail Hatch-a-long! Small/Tiny Things

Suggestion on the best place to order Button eggs? I know of several places, just not sure about them. (I don't have Facebook and I've exhausted my local Craigslist)

Or if any of you all ship them?

I ordered eggs from AcadianaAviaries on Etsy.The eggs arrived fine,I got extras,and it seemed like 2 thirds of them were fertilized.Out of 14 only 4 hatched however.One started but I did an assisted hatch too early.

I think I'll try hatching the eggs I'm currently getting. Unless it's not a good idea to incubate a young hen's first eggs. Let me know.

They are beautiful, btw. No fairies, no deformities, very clean, no cracks. I have them sitting point down. By day 8 of them laying, I should have 12-13.

It takes a little while to "work out the kinks" in the reproductive system. It's rather like just because a girl has started menstruating doesn't mean she's ready to get pregnant.

I found another place about an hour from me who sells button eggs.

I ordered this digital thermometer with probe so I could make sure I calibrated my Govees correctly.

Two hours will mark the beginning of the 17th day. Should I see pipping by now, or the eggs moving a little?

You might see some pipping, but the pips are very hard to see on button eggs. I wouldn't worry about them for another couple of days.
