I just set another batch if button quail eggs in my bator. Here's to baby buttons! Anyone else?...

Yesterday was day 21! Sorry I haven't checked BYC in a bit. I just had one little guy hatch! Pictures I posted pictures here. Nobody else has piped yet. I was just hoping for one, and I got my wish so far! Not bad for my first try.

Congrats! Saw the pics very cute, what type of coturnix are they? I have buttons that will be on lockdown in 2 days.

These are actually valley quail. As a kid I saw them and thought they were the most amazing animal I'd ever seen. I've always wanted them. Now that I own a home, I finally can!

That is awesome. They grow fast and lay in no time too. Careful they are addicting lol
