Button quail,how are they?

Yeah the problem is is that I doubt much people would buy incubators, lights, food ect for them. The town that the farmers market is in is a kinda cramped town. Not to many people have a bunch of land.my dad already sells chicken eggs there so I could probably intrest people in the quail eggs.I would also advertise fertilized quail eggs to and even live birds if people would be intrested.

When I go to the asian market I can get 12 dozen quail eggs for $3. They're pretty tasty!! I know you can buy quail in asian markets, and if your farmers' market caters to the posh organic crowd they might buy them for novelty and specialty purposes.

I know over here chicken eggs are $4 a dozen. :/ the cost of eggs just doesn't support themselves. It's cheaper for me to feed myself off them than to sell a dozen a week for $4.

then again I maybe get ~10-15 eggs a week. I dont have laying breeds. :p chicks sell for about $5 a pop and hens sell for $25 and roos $20.
it's what I get for raising fancy bantam breeds.
