Hey folks, I'm new to this and messed up the humidity the first 2 days, it dropped to about 30% twice when I woke because I hadn't put in enough water. Will this negatively impact my hatch? They will be at 50% for the remaining time now that I have a better understanding on how to control it. Any knowledge/reassurance appreciated.

Quail eggs are quite forgiving when it comes to humidity. The proper humidity is most important near, and at, hatch time. Good luck.

Ok thank you, I'm building several 4x2 enclosures for the pairs. Will chicken wire be small enough?

You will find 1/2 inch screen better. Chicken wire has larger openings that young birds could possibly squeeze through.
