Lol. It's easy, really, once you get the hang of it, if you use the right tricks. If you look closely, you can see a "pattern" on the table. It's actually the plastic clear top of my Jiffy seed starter. I hold them and let them run in place on the plastic, and once they realise that they're not going anywhere, you can let go and they'll just sit there. Sometimes they'll run after you let go, but they're fairly easy to catch if you're quick enough, then just hold them on the plastic again until they realise that they're getting nowhere fast.

Granted, my birds are all clipped, so they can't get a straight lift-off... this trick may not work on unclipped birds.

ETA: The rest of the pictures may really suck, I clipped the wings way back, so they're not so pretty, but here, I use function over looks.

I guess I'll get more pictures and post them, if you don't want to use them, I won't be offended.

1 - If I remember correctly, my two unidentified birds were this color, so good luck on this one, lol. I can post pics of them now though...

2 - Should be cinnies!

3 - Wild type?

4 - Pies maybe? Maybe tuxes? I'm not sure on that one.

ETA: Oh yes, forgot about the pieds. I didn't think that last one sounded like a redbreast, but I couldn't think of what else it could be
