Button Quail Size

Ok, why not i will send you pics of cage and basket

I am sending you pictures of my quail's wooden cage and plastic basket, but the wooden cage you saw its without any bedding material that time, by the way i use dry grass straw and leaves, and some soil.

Yes if i understand what u mean, you shud have more than 2 females coz a male cud over mount her so much and kill her :(
Actually, Buttons are monogamous and should be kept in 1 male 1 female pairs for the happiest type of life. This is how they live in the wild, and while they may be content in trios/1:3 male to female ratio, trying to mimic their natural habitat is always best.

Also the male, unless unusually aggressive, would not be able to "kill the hen from mounting her too many times". That's kind of unrealistic..
 
No, sorry but for button quail my experience is much different.
My female was WAY TOO overmated! She is dead now because of that....Please don't be so abrupt.

I feel like that experience is just a one-off and doesn't speak for all buttons. I just think giving that advice based solely on your own experience isn't a good idea... Especially if it's quite uncommon. I've seen tons of threads where someone gave bad advice and then that person's birds died from it.
