Button Quail, what color is s/he?

Quote:
He is a Cinnamon Red Breasted for sure and he will turn darker some on top. He will be brownish(regular Red Breasted will be black there) on the head going down a little bit into the neck area. Then below that going further down the back there will be blue feathering. There is no such thing as an Ivory/Silver Cinnamon Red Breast. Ivory is a Silver and Cinnamon mix so you can have either Ivory, Ivory Red Breasted, Silver, Silver Red Breasted, Cinnamon or Cinnamon Red Breasted, make sense? Feel free to ask any questions anytime. I love to help! Your male will change a ton from chick to adult. They are the most interesting one to watch change because they look so different from beginning to end. They also are the ones with the most reddish feathering on them even more so than the regular Red Breast. They are very pretty males! Here is a link to my Cinnamon Red Breasted:

Thank you so much for the compliment monarc23!! I have been doing this for a long time so have learned a ton. There is a lot of conflicting info out there on Buttons so I really researched and have a lot of hands on experience too. With all I have learned about them I love to pass that info on to help other people getting started. If anyone has any questions about them I will be glad to help!

You're very welcome! It's nice to have someone like you on here to answer the complicated questions reguarding them:). That's how I try to be about Coturnix but I still have more to learn about them as well, I've only been raising coturnix since July 08
