Okay guys so i literraly have had no luck with this question on any of the forums. Are button quail legal in New york City ?

Theyre so small and quiet theyre probly not regulated imparticularly. They could be called either a song bird or poultry being quail. I have a pair and theyre so quiet even in the house you'd hardly know theyre there. Theyre very active tiny birds so they need a good bit of solid bottom cage space but in your climate should be kept indoors anyway. I looked at Cornell Universitys webpage they didnt have any info but u might be able to get something if u called them on a weekday.
