buying chicks from tractor supply?

    I was wondering if anyone else has bought chicks from tractor supply? This will be my first time having chickens so any info will help, I live in Walton county Georgia.

    I bought my first 6 red stars from them. They're happy girls and good layers. Go ahead and give them a try!

    They don't have them yet but I think they have "chick days" around march or april. Not sure where else to buy them from?

    Here in Tennessee our local Co-Op's chick days begin second week of February. Good Luck :D

    Yup. That's where most of mine are from. :)

    No actual breed chickens, mostly mixes like production reds and tetra tints, but great economy birds. I love them so much!

    My local TSC has them in by March 1st. And you have to buy at least 6.
