Buying Straight Run......Odds of Roosters?

It seems to me that ordering straight run actually has a higher chance to get cockerels. I've never been in a hatchery much less worked in one. But the math in my head says-

if I hatch xxxx number of chicks and have a 50/50 split. I then fill my orders for sexed chicks. Since orders for pullets outnumber cockerel orders my remaining ratio is no longer my 50/50 start. Say I'm now 70/30, if I have an order for 10 straight run and pick up the 10 closest chicks to me. The odds are I have packed 7 cockerels and 3 pullets.
This may be true for hatcheries that offer breeds both as sexed chicks and straight run. However the hatchery the OP ordered from offers this breed as straight run ONLY. So it was truly the luck of the draw, and the gender split was close to 50/50.

Out of 5 straight run Spitzhaubens, I got 2 pullets, 3 cockerels. This breed was not sold sexed at this hatchery.
