Again, I'll probably not do too much, but seeing the title, "Favorite Bird," I figured that would be simple enough, so I drew my 'favorite bird,' Bird of my favorite bird species: chickens. (I'm also early because I drew it last night, too. )
I don't really have a favorite bird
(there's just so many beautiful ones out there), but I love toucans.
This was a wee bit rushed as I was on a time crunch
Hey guys! Since I completed the challenge last year I wasn't planning on participating this year, but I might end up doing a few here and there if I feel like it.
I am currently so on top of this rn Which I know won't last cause later this month I will get busier but until then...
Here's mine for today. 2. Sparrow
I actually love sparrows, even if they're super annoying pests here
Fall is in the air, folks . . .
Cranberries, spiced cider, pumpkin patches galore, headache-inducing autumnal scented candles.
And what else, you may ask?
Why, BirdTober, of course!
Look at us go— four years now of stunning bird drawings from some really amazing people!
I hope you all are as excited as I am!
Now, the gist of things for those new. BirdTober is an annual art challenge for artists of all sorts and skill levels. (Digital artists, traditional artists, fiber artists, sculptors . . . and so on and so forth.)
We’re here to have fun and pump our avian artistry muscles over the whole course of a month: the original prompt list is intended for a drawing every day, but as most past participants know, doing daily drawings is often difficult when, well, life happens.
That being said, feel free to participate at whatever pace suits your schedule, weekly birds are just as great as daily birds!
And, a final note: as I’m seeing it become more pertinent, I think it’s important to mention that no AI-generated images are permitted without full disclosure.
Many thanks to @Amer for always keeping me on my toes and being so incredibly dedicated, very excited to see your contributions this year! Thanks again for tracking down the prompt list.
Go forth and draw birds, happy BirdTober, everyone!
