With my first kid I wanted to take him somewhere we'd catch some for his first fishing trip. Didn't want to ruin fishing for him by not catching any.
A friend told me he had an offer to use a farm lake that hadn't been fished in in forever and was told it was a great spot.
We took both our boys and it was unbelievable. We were catching 2, 3, 4 lb bass hand over fist.
So many we quit fishing to let the boys and just help them.
It ended up backfiring because my kid thought every fishing trip would be like that and of course that was never gonna happen again.

🤣 That's awesome! Ya I had a similar thing I took my cousins fishing and surprisingly we caught a tun that day cooked them all up and fed the whole fam. Then the next time we didn't catch nothing and they were so upset and didn't want to go anymore they said it was a waste of a day😅
