I'm looking forward to seeing this calendar when it comes out. It will be fun to see the variety of birds!

I don't know how the judges will be able to choose!! So many lovely photos.

Oh, doverducklings, that is the cutest story I have ever heard. It made me laugh out loud. Seriously. I bet James will never forget that. I was going to ask what it was Dusty was saying with his mouth open but forgot and you answered my question anyway. What a sweet sound to be in the presence of, especially at a ball game. Please keep us posted when you take him to football games.

Oh yes Dusty loves it. When he was little and I would go into the Dollar store the cashiers would meet me at the door just so they could see him. He's been up to the Elementary school. He rides great in the car. He is such a big part of the family and we just absolutely love him. Well we love all of our birds and their all spoiled rotten. It's just I kinda have 3 Momma boys, Bobble (the goose),  Dusty (the duck), and Nuggie (the rooster), 

Awe, so sweet. I am happy people in your community have been so enthusiastic about Dusty. How can anyone not be? As a grown up is be a pekin? I am happy you spoil him, Nuggie and Bobble. They deserve it.

I just hope they choose at least one swan, one peafowl, one turkey, one pigeon and one of the emu pictures I think were entered here even though I would like more to be used but at least one since there's not as many of us that have submitted more rare exotic animals and would be nice to see in a calendar in my opinion. I do love all of these photos regardless of the species. It would be awesome if we had more pics of all the species that have been submitted and make a collage of the photos and have a collage of each species for each month or something.
