That is so cool that the ducks put themselves into their crates. Smart birds. Would Nappy and Annie come back if they ever got out? I have heard that pigeons are very smart like that.All 23 ducks and Nappy and Annie have free run in the house. It's the oddest thing you've ever seen. Daughter has several of those dog carriers. She claps and the ducks head to the crates and load up. She takes them outside for pond time and foraging. When she's ready to bring them in, she claps her hands again and they get back into their crates and wait for their "lift" back into the house. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it. Nappy and Annie are in the house all the time, though. Guess they don't crate train as easily as ducks.![]()
