Off to a slow start today. Spent this morning doing storm assessment around the farm. Had a nice micro burst hit around midnight. Blew our window well cover off and shattered it and did a number on our (3 month old) trampoline. It also broke 2 power line poles in our tree row just to the east of our house. Some people down the road had a pivot flipped and huge 8 ft diameter 8 foot tall empty fertilizer tanks blown off their foundations and across the field. I'm sick of all the wind we have gotten lately. Saturday and Sunday were sustained 40+ mph winds with gusts up to 70 and then last nights micro burst. Windy and raining today....and cold for June. I had a feeling the summer weather was going to be a lot like it was last year.....and it is definitely starting that way.

As long as it isn't an actual tornado, we are good! :thumbsup It wasn't as bad as last years incident (pretty sure it was a funnel cloud about to touch down as the wind was from every direction). It flipped a pivot over as well as our 32 ft camper and broke about 10 poles just east of our house. The 2 that broke last night are actually ones they just replaced last year.

Oh wow that sounds like a crazy storm!!!

It does bother my wrist and I keep it “perfect fit” but it motivates me to move so I ignore it. But I think I am going to stop wearing it to bed.
If it annoys you, get a different band. There are lots of inexpensive after-market bands available. I like the flexible metal mesh ones. They're easy to adjust and they let your skin breathe better, plus I like the look. I don't personally care for the silicone ones. They trap moisture and irritate my skin.

Yes, that’s what it is. It traps moisture. I’ll look into getting a different band once I wear it consistently for a month or two. I foresee me sticking to using the Fitbit always but I’m known to quit after a while of going strong. So once I pass that 1-2 month mark I’ll get another. Probably sooner since summer is here.

The Fitbit one is the official app and I think My Fitness Pal is a third party thing but supposedly a lot better at tracking food than the Fitbit
my fitness pal is by underarmour .....and yes it is way better for tracking food and nutrition and it “plays nicely” with fitbit
