I am stuck in a rut due to this heat. Before I was happy walking in circles in my front yard to reach 10-12k now I am barely reaching 6-8k steps, which is my daily average without extra walking.

Today I'm indoors doing house chores.

We are in the process of moving our 2.5 week old keets (hopefully in the next week or two, they grow fast). Right now they're in a metal tub with chicken wire over it to keep them from flying out. Today my husband forgot to secure the chicken wire and half of them flew out.

I was inside hearing loud keet chirps and sure enough they were in my garden just walking while the ones still in the tub were going crazy chirping.

We caught all of them with great struggle (they are fast). Thankfully my puppy was not in the front yard today! That would have been a disaster.
