I think the pixel watch is less sensitive to arm movements than my fitbits were. So am I getting less steps or a more accurate count

Same here. They are going to cut the stand alone Fitbit off then and everything will have to go through Google even though it already is. Ever since Google took it over, every "upgrade" they have made has made it less user friendly.

I've heard that can be an issue with the Pixels. They make so many changes so frequently that it usually doesn't last too long. Sometimes a reset can help.
