BYC Buttercup club!

Hi all, here's a club for all of us buttercup lover to talk about 'em!

Oh my! The one chicken that dh has expressed was neat looking is the Buttercup. So, earlier in the fall/late summer, I was on a quest to find some for "him". But we ended up giving away the few chickens we had and moved back into town for a bit. BUT I still want 2-3 chickens, even if I have to have inside pet chickens (no chicken diapers, though...yuck). So I was going to get Buttercups, but I read that they do not do well in confinement....so gonna have to settle for bantams, I guess

I love Buttercups! We have one cockerel that is sooooo mellow!! But then, we did have another cockerel and he was full of pandemonium!! Our pullets are well behaved, except for when you hold them, they squak and try to get their feathers out of our grasp!

I love my Buttercup pullets back on the farm. They were beautiful!

We got our first 4 eggs from our Buttercup pullet, Stripes!

My buttercups are so sweet and curious. They love attention!

I got mine from Welp hatcheries, 4 hens and 1 roo. I love the way they look.

Once I find my charger I will take some pics.

Probably not show quality but she is in my eyes!!!

These are the best pets ever! I have 5 of them and they are all mine!!!!!! LOVERS!!

I'm hoping to post pics as they grow. Maybe my daugher can get some pics how they fly up on my when I go out to my brooder/coop area.
