Good morning Cafe. Nice hot coffee is ready and a warm fire is in the stove.

I asked C to bring the girls with him when he came to pick me up last night. He had to hang on tight to Piper when I got to the car. She was squirming and wiggling so hard trying to get to me. Bella was chirping and vibrating while wagging her little nubby stump. Once I got in the car I was mobbed. Piper practically draped herself over my chest with her neck pressed to mine and her head tight to my shoulder while Bella kept licking my arm and grabbing at me.
I missed them too!

My flight arrived nearly an hour early. No one was complaining about that. C arrived while I was waiting for my luggage at baggage claim. We were on our way within 5 minutes of me claiming it. We switched off driving duty when we got to a gas station for a fill up (him, me and the car) and I drove the rest of the way home.

He and my niece did a very nice job making sure the house was up to my standards before my return and the effort was much appreciated. I really only have to unpack and do laundry.

It's almost time to shut down the pond for the season.

Our short trip to go watch DS$ wrestle was fun. I brought him some food and some of the apple-butter taking up space in the freezer.
He won the wrestle-off for the spot on the team at 141lbs so this Friday, flying off to AR for the first dual of the season.
He is happy to be back on the mat for real!

Thanks, it is.
Might have been the knee(mostly likely) and/or ankle that threw the hip out. Once I got the knee realigned the hip and ankle improved.

Crispy frosted grass here this morning, and a potent pot harvest perfume heavy in the air.

Good afternoon Cafe our internet burped this morning.
pretty rare happening.
They are great and the price we pay is not bad at all.
No frost here yet 53 out as we got up.
Took cooked pumpkin to the birds.

It finally got below freezing at the house. We have had a heavy frost, now a freeze. The bean plants that I've been covering (really want to harvest some seed from these!)...

... are STILL alive! Covering them with two layers of sheets is keeping them from being mush. There's some damage, but the plants aren't dead.

I yanked RB out of the maternity ward tonight to take his picture along with the lavender boy and the 3 month old GLW boy so I could start their ads.
I tossed RB back in the ward then came inside and ran ads on four sites. Within 10 minutes I had somebody asking about them. As of right now I have someone that wants all three of them and I'm supposed to meet him tomorrow at 7:00 at night. I'll believe it when it actually happens!
I've named the white one. His name is Colby.
He can stay until he annoys me. Then I'll rehome him.

I stuck 4 eggs in the incubator again as long as we know Fred is fertile.
Going to take them to banty let them hatch and raise them.
