BYC Café

Good morning all! The cookout went well, but I sure am tired. High of 86 today with a 50% chance of rain in the afternoon. Coffee please Margie, I am tired. I am ready for some racing and blown engines, LLPhil.

Was a boring try and stay Awake trave tonight....going kayaking tomorrow (technically today)....weather is supposed to be nice.
Well, of course, Scott - running around in circles just seems natural to us rabbits.;)

But yeah, I've been a NASCAR fan for a while. My family used to tease me about my "NASCAR naps;" turn on the race, sit down to watch, fall asleep . . . .:th

That was me earlier.....was a long uneventful race today.....for sure.

Happy Memorial Day

Yeah, definitely pretty uneventful race. Have fun kayaking! :)
Happy Memorial Day  :caf

Same to you Sour. And the rest of our coffee "goers".

Good morning Scott! Have a good, uneventful Memorial Day too! :)

Seems like the weather is going to be nice today, maybe a little to hot but it's better than too cold. I have a couple goat related chores to do today, but otherwise nothing else planned. :). How are the lambs Margie?

I knew we couldnt miss it everytime. We got a real storm yesterday night. Have not yet went out at assess the damage. We have wheat and alfalfa planted on that field. The alfalfa might pull through and be just fine, we are a bit worried about the wheat.

Wow! Hopefully the crops can pull through for you guys.

Ugh! That is some nasty hail.....

The lambs seem to be thriving. Still keeping a close eye on the new ones. The three older ones are bonkers.
Gonna bring steaks to grill down to my neighbor's place and hang out with him this afternoon until wrestling practice..... if we go..... still pondering. We missed all of last week with the lambing scene. We will just see what happens as the day rolls out.
No worries! Be happy! Have a good one too!

isn't the wheat used as a cover for the new alfalfa?
Hoping for the best!

Not usually for us. Usually we plant alfalfa into the Oats or wheat stubble in the fall. We rarely get enough moisture to be able to double crop. This year we could probably get away with it...But the rain could stop at anytime.
