Not sure what else I'll do today. I got everything done on the list before noon! I'm not sleepy enough to want a nap -- yet. If the ground weren't frozen, I'd be messing around with the compost or the garden.

I suppose I could rake up the winter-fallen leaves in the front yard...

We're re-frozen here. The dogs want to run because it's sunny but it is below 20 with a decent wind. No thank you.
I'm happy to have done my workout, made a frittata, pickled a batch of eggs and cleaned up the kitchen.

Just enough to make ground wet.
Had my coffee after dogs and birds this morning.
Brought a late pot of coffee with.

We are back home and recharging after a weekend in Gunnison. It was beautiful weather for the trip and I hope the weather will be nice for our trip to Indiana for the NCAA D2 National Wrestling Championships!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee.
I need it. I had a horrible night of insomnia like I haven't had for years. And just when I finally dozed off around 2 in the morning, the smoke detector went off for some unknown reason. C said he saw a haze but I didn't. I'll vacuum the detector out today.
I got maybe 2 hours worth of very broken sleep. I see a long nap in my future.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

The turkeys have become obnoxious. There were half a dozen wandering around the backyard within 6' of the deck yesterday afternoon. Nope. No turkey crap in my backyard to eventually become hors d'oeuvres for the dogs.

I finished my workout this morning before the gang showed up. I tried to move a little further into the woods to spread the feed. When I finished up with my flock, I could hear a cacophony of turkeys gobbling, some crabby deer stomping at them and a feral cat fight the next road over with some type of turkey involvement. Good grief. So much for country peace.
