I have decided to return the caterpillars that I have to the field and tie off the cocoons somewhere down there too. I'm going to sanitize my habitat with a bleach solution then get fresh milkweed and clean and sanitize that too. Then I'll start over.

I processed a cantaloupe and took the seeds out to the flock and started lobbing them around. Astrid came running with her chicks and one of the little white ones grabbed a chunk and ran like hell! He had 3 of Savannah's pullets/ cockerels hot on his heels. They ran around the back of the run. I have no idea if he managed to keep his prize.

I still get the occasional English sparrow that gets into the run through the screen doors. It's always irritated me that the chickens just let them eat their food. They'd peck another chicken's eye out for trying to eat their food but the sparrows keep getting off Scot free. Well today I saw two of Savannah's boys go after a sparrow! They've watched me do it enough times they must have figured it out. It was great fun to watch!

Good Morning,

Tea consumed and now coffee.

The sun is out, no sign of rain/wind yet, but they will come. Today the streets are busy looking ugly and messy because tomorrow is Kerb side collection = the local council collects all unwanted stuff.

There are other will drop in to check out what they can recycle. I will have to unload some of the stuff in my shed as well.

for sunshine, blue sky, and just simply sunshine please.

The wildfire smoke has returned around here, but it is cooler for a few days.
DS$ and I went digging Osha and harvested Mullein and Usnea, and today we will tincture them and they will be ready for wrestling season.

Kettle is boiling.

We got rain yesterday as expected, and the streets are housing many unwanted stuff on the pavement, the rain ruins many things that could be recycle....grrr.

Old exercise bicycle is finally out the door, I am relief!
Yesterday my tiny sick rooster was crowing endlessly with high notes and stretched out the last note cockadoodledoo..doooo . I end up with a headache because he was in my kitchen. He sounded like classical singers that can sing high note and hold the note for a very long time.

I am scare to watch the news these days, only bad news.
Sunday night chanel 7 tv run Criminal Intent, followed by 2 x SVU Monday night will be Criminal Intent and 1 SVU. Other stations have movies also, but there are a lot of reality tv shows, I do not like many reality tv shows. The real house wives is running one after another. 1 of our tv stations is showing scifi movies and I love it. Might be because AI is on the news so much these days that inspired this?

Good idea. I always go straight for plain water.

A couple months ago, I had a few days with dizzy spells. I was drinking enough water, I thought.

What I wasn't getting was enough salt. I don't salt my food. I don't eat much prepared food. So every now and then, especially in the heat of summer, I salt my food. That takes care of the dizziness.
