You're in TC??? I used to live in Eastport, on the north end of Torch Lake. We went to TC for most "big city" needs.

I have never been to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Just like I live less than an hour from Grand Rapids, and have never gone to see any of the Art Prize entries. Not even when where I worked printed many of them. Probably not going this year, either.

We are heading to Mackinac Island tomorrow for several days- part of an organized tour.

Another mouse got in the house. I was setting a trap for it in the mudroom when C got home and freaked out when I told him what I was doing.

OMG! What if it got in my bedroom?!!

It didn't. The dogs have it cornered behind the entertainment center.

I'm going to block under all the doors and then move the entertainment center so they can get it!

Gross! Don't do that. Just let it wander into the mud room and get hit by the trap.

I won't be able to sleep tonight.

So off he went preparing to move the entertainment center while I leaned up against the wall and enjoyed my own entertainment! He moved it out, Piper darted in the back, the mouse ran out the front where Bella was waiting and nailed it. I then yelled at her to drop it as she started to crunch on it! She dropped it's slimy, bloody, partially gutted body into her bed. I looked at C and told him, "this was your idea, you clean it up". Then I went to bed.

After he had taken care of the corpse and put everything back where he found it I heard him say "Ooh, Bella! You're SUCH a good girl!!... Eeek! DON'T LICK ME!!! F*** OFF!!"

I almost fell out of bed laughing!

Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

It rained most of the day yesterday and continued throughout the night. More today and tomorrow. Then back to sunshine on my days off. Yay!
