BYC Café

It is good to have you back in the Cafe, Orca! Your pics and adventures are fun to read about.
Safe travels, Sour. A sweet pic would be nice and we know you don't do pics, but we don't want a pic of you...;)
Step 1 is complete with DS$ getting the spot on the team at 141 lbs. There were 4 other guys vying for it this year.
Off to the races, LOL! First dual is on Thursday. :yesss:
Off to help a friend with her firewood.
Enjoy the day, Cafe!

Another commercial flock found with AI two counties to the west of me. This is the third case in that county in just four weeks.
😬
Do you keep your flock contained under a solid roof? If so, they should be safe provided you make sure not to track in dropping from waterfowl flying over your property.

Yes, AI is another "predator" that I keep out by keeping my birds in and covered. When we go on walks with Freya, I make sure that I don't step in goose poop on the road, or when I'm in the yard/garden. They're flying over a lot now.

Some are directionally challenged, it seems. We'll see a couple flying more north than south sometimes. We make comments like, "Harriet, I told you to be sure the stove was turned off before we left!"
