She is a Spotted Saddle Horse that didn't have a big enough white spot for the registry so I got her for my birthday back in 92, real cheap. If I had paid for 1/2 papers her name would have been Scott's Cadillac. She has the smooth walker gait, I can drink a cold one without spilling anything at a speed most other horses are trotting if not at a lope. She will also do hill climbing like you wouldn't believe, she can also ski down a clay creek bank with the best of them.
Yes prostar she is very pretty da-boot.

Wow and she's still doing well? Good on ya both! (I've just heard my mil complaining too much about one of her "old" mares who's lame/arthritic...she's only 12...but she'd speak of her like she's an equine senior citizen....

Dryer is fixed so today I am doing some laundry; a bit of a no-brainer there heh? 5th grade graduation to attend and also the fish for the lakes are being delivered at 10:30 AM. It is still too wet to get down to the lakes so anyone up for some fish schlepping? It is easy; you just RUN a net full of fish from the truck to the lake through the mud, gently release them and give the ones that don't start swimming a gentle poke in the ribs. Great exercise! Coffee up cowgirls! and boys!

He might step on the fish as they slither about after she has lost her footing and they go flying.

I can picture it so well...cause I remember dad getting his pond stocked. They came in a dump truck.

The cool part was the wild minnows that found their way into the pond after a decade. I love me my minnowing.

Weather has been warm, if not a bit humid here today. Washed all the bedding and hung it out on the line, I so miss that during winter. Then I worked on another of my aunt's gardens. Almost finished. I did have to take a break every hour though. It appears that a nice little bird decided to use the nest on the light above the back garage door. This is where we let the dogs out and the patio is located. It's kind of a busy spot. We could see Momma from the deck door, and had to keep the curtains pulled, because every time we walked by, off she would go. I was worried nothing was going to hatch. Well, it appears that the baby hatched yesterday. He's a pitiful, scraggly looking thing! Mom and Dad are taking turns bringing him food, and he is pretty vocal when they don't feed him fast enough. So, I spend my time just watching from the deck door... I will never get anything done once I have chickens.:D
