BYC Café

Those are some nice looking cookies. The run North took forever....., wrecks and traffic all over the place, what a pain. Tomorrow up at 5:15 for chores so goodnight you all.

Margie, I hope that today is better and you can have a 2nd cuppa in peace & quiet.
OOOH Cookies. Aside from Ice cream, I am a great cookie tester - just try me!

My Dear Diva, How are you doing? Thanks Again

I find that cookies and ice cream taste better at 0-dark-thirty in the morning, what to you think?
Coffee is late but ready, Enjoy the Day before it gets away.

Mornin', all! :frow

Looks like we get a stretch of mild, dry weather for the fair.:celebrate

That's hugely good news; last year, we had a stream running through the livestock tent. This year, the Super has been pro-active; she arranged the inside so that the swale that the water runs along will have no animal enclosures on it; if it happens again, nobody winds up standing in water and the water can flow unimpeded. That's bound to be good news to this guy:

This pig's owners got flooded out; the water rose so rapidly they couldn't move all of their animals in time. This fella wound up wandering at large (in his case, very large; he weighs about 500 pounds) for a week or so before he was recaptured and resettled.

Margie, sorry to hear that your trip was so tiring and tiresome - hopefully today will be less stressful.

Good to hear from ya, Phil!

One less deer in the world. We went to see a WRETCHED play last night and on the way home the Princess hit a deer. I told her it was punishment for making me go to the play.

At least T.P.T.B. learned to keep critters out of the potential creek.
Good to hear that you are having real nice weather this year.

At least you got fresh venison out of the night, it wasn't totally wasted.

Oh, man, grilled venison - is everybody (other than the deer) OK?
Grilled, fried, smoked, or stewed it's all good.

All is good - except the car, and it is drivable.
Good to hear that you guys are OK!

I was wondering; it seems like cars these days can get totaled by a dragonfly strike.

Real close to it, some of those plastic front ends cost an arm & leg before labor.

Howdy Scott

Maybe true.... But i really think cars are way safer.....They build them to callapse to absorb impact so the passengers don't.
